Tsubasa started playing the piano at the age of 4. He received several awards in Kyoto as well as his piano degree. He was admitted to the CNSMDP in Paris in 2011 and obtained the DNSPM with honours in 2014 as well as the 2nd cycle diploma in piano in the class of Michel Dalberto and Claire-Marie Le Guay.

Tsubasa Tatsuno won the 1st prize at the 18th Matsukata piano competition in Kobe, and other prizes in Sète and Lagny-sur-Marne. He also participated in 2016 in the Queen Elisabeth competition in Brussels. In 2018 he won the first edition of the International Piano Competition organised by Les Étoiles du Piano.
 
Under the direction of Claudio Cruz, he plays with the Ribeiran Preto orchestra in Brazil, and performs regularly in recital in Japan and France.
 
Since 2000, he has accompanied the Kobe Children's Choir in Japan. Currently, Tsubasa is studying for the 3rd cycle of the Performer's Diploma at the CNSMDP in the class of Florent Boffard and Michel Dalberto.
