Child prodigy from the former Soviet Union, Vladimir Soultanov, pianist of Uzbek origin, gives his first recital at the age of 7. Soviet television devoted a documentary to him in 1970 on gifted children. Considered one of the great hopes of his country, he joined the prestigious Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, where he became a pupil of Léo Naoumov and gave numerous concerts in the largest halls of the Soviet Union. In 1984, he received the concert pianist diploma with the congratulations of the jury. At the end of his studies, he was appointed soloist of the Tashkent Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 1988, Vladimir Soultanov decided to settle in France.
In addition to his teaching duties at the Conservatoire de Roubaix, he embarked on an international career which led him to perform all over the world: in Russia, Japan, Italy, Belgium and France, as well as before the Queen of England. and the King of Spain.
Today he participates in many juries of international competitions.
