Pre selection

A video presenting a free program of 20 mns including at least 1 etude by Chopin or Liszt

 

Applications open from April 1 to June 1, 2025 

 

 

 

November 2025, Saturday 15th

Welcoming candidates


 

November 2025, Sunday 16th & Monday 17th

1st round

20 minutes per candidate

A 20-minute free program including a study written in the 20th century after 1944.

 

November 2025, Tuesday 18th & Wednesday 19th

2nd round

The entire program should last 50 - 60 minutes per candidate

A free program including a contemporary work written by Thierry Escaich, Etude Jazz (duration: 6').

The program may not include works played partially (single sonata movement).
No piece played in the video may be played again for the audition programs.
No piece played in the elimination round may be played again for the semi-final program.

Rehearsal of the finalists with the Orchester de Picardie

 

November 2025, Friday 21st

Final

 

O​ne concerto with orchestra to be chosen from the list:

  • Beethoven, Concerto 4 in G minor

  • Mozart, Concerto 23 in A major

  • Chopin, 2nd concerto in F minor

  • Saint Saëns, 2nd concerto in G minor

  • Schumann, concerto in A minor

 

 

November 2025, Saturday 22nd

Gala evening at the Colisée de Roubaix, with the Orchester de Picardie

The association "Les Étoiles du Piano", International Piano Competition of Hauts-de-France, is recognized as a public interest organization in July 2017 under the n°W595029207.
Its head office is 106 rue du Courant in Cysoing 59830 in France.
